Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Renata Shiloah MS RD CDN RYT was born in the Czech Republic in the city of Prague. She came to the United States with her parents and brother at the young age of four. Renata is currently an accomplished and compassionate Registered Dietitian and health educator with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in medical nutrition therapy and program development. Renata is currently the director of nutrition and wellness services at Nutritionist4u Counseling, P.C. and Betances Health Center. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the health sciences department at CUNY Lehman College in the health sciences department. She is also a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher, who specializes in easy flow yoga.


Renata graduated from CUNY Queens College with a degree in Family, Nutrition, and Exercise Science. She went on to do her Master of Science at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Health Care Policy and Management with a concentration in nutrition. Due to her passion for learning and interest in functional medicine, Renata acquired her Doctor of Clinical and Nutrition from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
Along her twenty-year career path, she has also been involved in the media. Her publications include but are not limited to Teen Vogue, Prevention, SHAPE, and Fitness Magazine Appearances include Good Morning America, Fox 5 and UPN Channel 9 News, and nutrition spokesperson for channel 12 news the Bronx. Renata’s most recent publication focused on reversal of risk for Metabolic using an integrative treatment approach may be viewed at SSRN Elsevier Publication Journals.


On a more personal note, Renata enjoys spending time with her husband, and five children. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, meditation, swimming, and bike riding.
